Library honor Titanic anniversary with free screenings

BALTIMORE - Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the most famous disaster in maritime history, the Pratt library will show three movie screenings of the Titanic.

The "unsinkable ship" sank on April 15th, 1912.

Three films will be screened:

  • The 1953 film “Titanic” will be seen Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Library Wheeler Auditorium.
  • “A Night To Remember” will be available Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. also at the Central Library Wheeler Auditorium.
  • The 1997 film “Titanic” will be shown on Wednesday at 6:30 at the Central Library Wheeler Auditorium.

All of the events are free.
