TOWSON, Md. - Judge Katie O'Malley is visiting a group of Baltimore County students who created a bullying awareness and prevention public service announcement.
O'Malley will visit with students at George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology in Towson on Thursday afternoon. She'll view the announcement aimed at promoting anti-bullying efforts.
The event previews Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week next week. Officials say 3,318 incidents of bullying were reported during the 2009-2010 school year in Maryland. That's an increase from 2,132 a year earlier.
