BALTIMORE - For the first time in 22 years, Johns Hopkins Hospital is ranked number two in the nation.
According to the latest U.S News and World report list released today, Massachusetts General hospital is number one.
Massachusetts General edged out Hopkins because it had 16 nationally ranked specialty programs compared to Hopkins' 15.
It's unlikely the slight drop will affect the hospital's reputation.
Hopkins is not going down without a fight. They say they're going to figure out what they can do to get that number one spot back.
