BALTIMORE -
One week from tonight, the hit ABC show, “Dancing with the Stars” will kick off its 16th season. One of the stars is a man who's no stranger to a kick off. Baltimore Ravens’ Jacoby Jones is on the lineup this time around.
Monday morning, Jones and his dance partner Karina Smirnoff stopped by the station to meet the crew from Good Morning Maryland.
They got a behind-the-scenes look at what we do.
And they learned it’s not easy reading the teleprompter or doing the news and weather.
And what they do isn't easy either. This weekend, ABC2’s Kelly Swoope got a behind-the-scenes look at their dancing.
The duo started dance rehearsals Friday here in Baltimore.
Jones told Swoope dancing isn't as easy as he thought it would be and Karina says the challenges are yet to come.
According to Smirnoff, "It's been more than I expected. You do that, just dance. We got our laughter in but you are tired at the end of the day you will sleep.”
“We have slow ballroom dances that require frame which might be a little tough for us because my frame will be like, he's really, but i'm. We're just gonna have fun no matter what it is," Smirnoff said.
