BALTIMORE - Movie star, novelist, and screenwriter Carrie Fisher is in town performing her one-woman-show at the Hippodrome.

She calls the show "Wishful Drinking," and in it, she's brutally honest about all aspects of her life.

From growing up as the daughter of screen legends Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, to her own work in Hollywood, Fisher tries to find the humor in the sometimes tragic experiences she's had.

Fisher says, "you know if discuss certain experiences I've had whether it was being in Star Wars, or having famous parents, famous spouses, having been in rehab, mental hospitals, or having someone die in my house, I talk about all that.  And so I say if my life wasn't funny, it would just be true."

Fisher still lives in Los Angeles with her daughter Billie and her mother actually lives next door.

She'll be right here in Baltimore at the Hippodrome theater through February 12th, and tickets are still available.
