BALTIMORE - Baltimore City firefighters are on the scene of a level 2 hazardous material spill in Southwest Baltimore.
FIre Department Spokesperson Kevin Cartwright says over 55 gallons of Hydrofluoric acid spilled inside a small industrial building on Whittington Avenue.
11 workers were evacuated from the building as the acid has spread to a large part of the building. The Maryland Department of the Environment is also on the scene.
No injuries have been reported and hazmat teams are working to clean up the acid.
