BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Nearly 100 AmeriCorps volunteers got together to help build a home for Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake.
Habitat hosted a special Building Day in honor of this year's AmeriCorps Week.
The event lasted from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
The house will build in the Woodbourne community, and the event featured the president of the neighborhood association as the guest speaker
