BALTIMORE - A 13-year-old girl was hospitalized after being bitten by a pit bull Tuesday afternoon, fire officials say.
It happened at 3:45 p.m. in the 5400-block of Narcissus Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

The family told paramedics it was a pit bull that attacked the teen.
She suffered bites and lacerations to the back side of her leg.
She was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment.
The owner of the dog is unknown.
