BALTIMORE - A two-alarm fire in the 1200 block of West Baltimore Street is now under control.
The fire was in a 3-story vacant building and nobody was found inside when officials arrived on the scene.
There was damage to the Chinese carryout restaurant next door and a pregnant woman was treated by medics for a cut on her hands. A firefighter was also taken to the hospital after cutting his foot.
Roads in the area are closed and crews are still using a ladder truck to spray water on the building to hit any remaining hot spots.
Truck 10 , which is set to go out of commission on July 1 as part of the mayor's plan to save money is one of the trucks on the scene.
The fire broke out shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
