Baltimore - Congressman Elijah Cummings and Senator Ben Cardin got a sneak peek of the progress at Druid Hill Park.

22 people were chosen out of hundreds of applicants for 'Green up, Clean up' jobs. Those people are working to restore 9 acres of the park bordering the Mondawmin Community.

Senator Cardin says the green jobs are providing much needed employment opportunities while also helping to restore the environment.

The site has been overgrown and inaccessible for more than a quarter century.
