BALTIMORE - A crash involving an ambulance Sunday evening sent five people to the hospital.
Baltimore City Fire Department's spokesperson Kevin Cartwright says the accident happened around 6 p.m.
He says the medic unit was responding to a call in the area of Saratoga and Calvert Streets when it collided with another car where Calvert and Lexington intersect.
In the car were four people, including two children. All four, plus a medic on the ambulance, were taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials are still investigating to determine what caused the crash.
