BALTIMORE - College lacrosse fans are gearing up for an exciting weekend in Baltimore.
The 2011 NCAA Mens Championship weekend got underway Friday night with a pep rally at the Inner Harbor.
In the first game, Saturday the number 7 Virginia Cavaliers slamed the number 6 Denver Pioneers, advancing to the NCAA men's lacrosse finals with a score of 14 to 8.
The second game, Terps took the Blue Devils with a final score of 9 to 4 which takes the Terps to Monday's Division I championship.
Sunday at 4 p.m., Adelphi and Mercyhurst matchup in the Division II Championship followed by Tufts vs. Salisbury at 7 p.m. in the Division III Championship.
Monday the winners of Saturday's games will face off for the big game. The Division I Championship game will get started at 3:30 p.m.
