BALTIMORE (AP) - Maryland clergy from multiple denominations will hold two news conferences to express support for same-sex marriage.

The first will be outside the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland: Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore on Thursday.

Another event will be held in Silver Spring outside of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Maryland residents will be voting in November on whether a law passed by the Maryland General Assembly earlier this year should go into effect or not.
