BALTIMORE - A Baltimore native is being remembered as "honorable" for his dedication and service to his country.
Staff Sergeant Brandon Pepper was killed over the weekend in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense says the 31-year-old died when his unit was attacked.
Pepper grew up in Baltimore County and graduated from Kenwood High in 1999.
He joined the reserves the following year.
Staff Sergeant Pepper's body was brought home to Dover Air Force Base Tuesday morning.
