Ever since criticizing the President right in front of him last month, Carson has been asked by Republicans if he is willing to run for the White House.
Sunday night he was invited to the Conservative Political Action Conference. It is no secret the Hopkins doctor has been cutting back at work, but on Sunday he seemed to officially announce his retirement.
“In 106 days I will be retiring and I’ll be 62 years old in September and I strongly believe there’s a reason that pilots are asked to retire before they start crashing airplanes,” he said.
He drew cheers when he mentioned being magically put in the White House.
Caron, a registered independent, said he would be happy to speak at the Democratic Convention.
