BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Thousands of people picked up their feet and left the competition in the dust on Saturday at the 2012 Baltimore Running Festival.

Event organizers said that Baltimore put the "HON" back into marathon.

The festival welcomed runners of all ages who competed in four different races, including the 5k, team relay, marathon, half-marathon, and kids relay.

All of the events shared the same finish line at M&T Bank stadium.

The event brought more than 30 million dollars last year.
