BALTIMORE - The 2012 African American Festival is being held on Saturday and Sunday in Baltimore.
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown greeted people who are attending the festival on Saturday at the opening ceremony at M&T Bank Stadium.
The two-day event has become one of Baltimore's most well-attended attractions over more than 30 years. It includes local entertainment, arts and crafts exhibits, jewelry, sculptures, ethnic and American cuisine and an interactive children's area.
