BALTIMORE - The Charm City is not only charming but also pretty hip when it comes to top "coolest" U.S. cities to live in.
According to Forbes.com , Baltimore ranks No. 14 in the country when it comes to cities that have it going on.
“Baltimore is in transition because it has been down and out for a long time but it’s beginning to come back because it’s affordable,” Bert Sperling, founder of Sperling’s Best Place, told Forbes.com.
The study looked at several factors including arts/culture, recreation, diversity, local food presence, median age, unemployment rate, and net migration in 2011.
Baltimore also scored pretty high when it comes Arts & Culture and Recreation.
