BALTIMORE - When computer disks found by troops in Iraq in 2004 turned out to have extensive photos, floor plans and response systems for schools in the United States, it was big news.  Newly released details about those disks show Baltimore and its schools were included in that report.

ABC2 got a copy of the report, which was recently de-classified by the FBI, and shared online through the website, www.governmentattic.org .  Although other cities were named back in 2004, this is the first time Baltimore was mentioned as part of this “Assessment of Schools” report.

The report details CDs, which were turned over to coalition forces in Iraq back in 2004.  They contain a variety of materials including extremist Islamic writings, the federal government's guidelines for emergency preparedness and information about schools in the United States.

The school information detailed safety policies, floor plans and response measures for schools and districts in 10 cities/states, including Baltimore, which was never included when this intelligence was first reported seven years ago.

These de-classified documents don't name specific schools.  The FBI office in Baltimore couldn’t comment on the report.  However, back in 2004, the agency found no links to terrorism related to the report and didn't believe there was a specific plot targeting schools.
