Baltimore - Hundreds of Baltimore City teens are hard at work this summer thanks to City leaders and the federal government. They were given jobs with Baltimore City as a part of the Youthworks campaign.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Congressman Elijah Cummings and Senator Ben Cardin gathered to celebrate the security of the Department of Labor grant that allows that program to exist. They say it's a great way to keep young people learning all year around.
Youthworks employs high school and college students. The program helps them to develop work skills and explore careers.
