Baltimore - Who wouldn't want to learn from the best? On Wednesday, a very lucky group of kids got the experience of a lifetime.

They took a dip in the pool with one of the best pool sharks in the world. 14 time Olympic gold medalist, Michael Phelps. The Baltimore native gave the kids a swimming lesson at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute.

The lessons were a part of a partnership between Phelps' swim school and Baltimore City schools.

The joint effort is geared toward helping kids feel more safe and comfortable in the water.
