BALTIMORE - Rodney E. Goggins, a new Baltimore City Fire Department EMT/B recruit never showed up to work on Tuesday. Now, police are searching a reservoir.

Goggins' car was found near a Reservoir on Liberty Road near the Carroll County line.  Baltimore County Police searched the water and the area around it Wednesday night.

Goggins last spoke to his family at around 9 p.m. on Sunday. He was reported to have left his girl friend’s home in East Baltimore around midnight and never arrived home.

His family and the fire department are both worried about him, as this behavior is extremely uncharacteristic of him.

Goggins is a 20-year-old African American male, is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with brown hair and eyes, weighs 150 pounds, and has a thin mustache.

He has a tattoo of “family” on one wrist and “first” on the other, and “established 1991” on his chest and neck. He also has “Rodney” tattooed on one arm, and “Tracey” on the other.

Officials suspended the search Wednesday Night and it will resume at 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

If anyone has information about Rodney’s whereabouts, please notify the Baltimore County Police Department (Woodlawn Precinct) at 410-887-1340 or contact your local police department by calling 911.
