Spring is here, and baseball season is right around the corner. On Thursday, Baltimore City Council President Jack young introduced the President's Cup.
It's a program that unites Baltimore's youth through baseball, and brings students from area high schools, both public and private.
The Orioles are a major partner in the program, and even MLB Commissioner Bud Selig is taking notice, praising the program for its efforts.
The president's cup kicks off on Saturday, April 2nd with a welcome event at the Baltimore Sports Legends Museum.
The first pitch is on the 9th at Johns Hopkins University.
