BALTIMORE -

We’ve gotten used to Pennsylvania’s own Puxatawney Phil telling us when Spring is going to start, but now right here in Baltimore there will be a crab predicting the weather.

Baltimore Bill is going to walk off a special crab plank at the Inner Harbor later Wednesday and predict if we will have a warm fall or an early winter.

The event is sponsored by Old Bay and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

He’ll take his plunge at 10:30 a.m. right near the Light Street Pavilion.
