BALTIMORE - Crews in Baltimore have their hands full Wednesday morning with a water main break.
At around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning the Baltimore City Fire Department was called to the intersection of North Charles Street and West 20 Street for a reported water main break.
The Department of Public Works spokesperson, Kurt Kocher, says it is a "major water main break."
Kocher said they believe that the break is from a 60-inch break, but that they'll know more when they get it shut down.
He said the most important thing "is to avoid this area as much as possible."

But some residents can't avoid the area.
Baltimore resident, Dominic Frazier said this is the 4th water main break he's experienced while living in a high-rise right near the scene.
He said the people in his building weren't told how long they'll be without water.
Faizan Baseer owns a gas station on 21st and North Charles Streets. He says that the station has no business since the break happened.
It is open, no one is stopping for gas. "I hope Baltimore City will fix it soon," he said.
Impacting traffic?
Water is flowing from the break onto some of Amtrak's tracks coming out of Penn Station. One track has been shut down, and there may be some service delays.
