BALTIMORE -
ABC2's Sherrie Johnson was live at the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore where the American Craft Council show kicks off Friday.
More than 650 of the country's top craft artists will be here to show off their handmade creations in jewelry, clothing, furniture and home decor.
There is also something new this year.
The American Craft Council is collaborating with interior designers in the Baltimore and DC area. They are creating room settings inspired by a piece of fine craft.
The designers will transform the show floor into a show stopping setting of room designs that reflect the character of each piece.
This will help people to get ideas on how to showcase a treasured object into a home design.
This show allows you to see the work of hundreds of the country's most talented craft makers -- all under one roof.
The event kicks off today at 10am and runs through Sunday until 5pm .
