27-year-old shot in head, dies

BALTIMORE -
A man is dead after he was shot in the head in West Baltimore Sunday morning, police said.
Police were called to the unit block of N. Wheeler Avenue for a report of a shooting around 1 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived they found a man shot in the head. The victim, later identified as 27-year-old Christopher Samuels was taken to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced dead just before 1:30 a.m.
Homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100.
