2 officers injured after police car flips

BALTIMORE - The Accident Investigations Unit is trying to determine what caused a police vehicle to flip, injuring two officers.

According to Baltimore City Police, an officer's vehicle flipped on its top in the 3000 block of Northway Drive in the city's Northeast District just before 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Both officers inside the car were transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

The identities of both officers were not immediately released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
