BALTIMORE - It's where you went to meet up with friends, and have dinner with family. A popular Baltimore restaurant reopens Tuesday.

The newly rebuilt Mt. Washington Tavern opens for dinner at 5 PM.

Owners had to rebuild the tavern from the ground up after a devastating fire destroyed the place on Halloween last year.

The tavern has a new design, it's more open, easier to walk around, it has two rooms upstairs and an outdoor deck area.

But you'll see lots of familiar faces. The staff is the same.

The co-owner says it's been a lot of work but he knew without a doubt they had to rebuild.

The tavern will be open for normal business hours starting Wednesday.

A grand reopening party is set for the day before Thanksgiving... November 21st at 8 PM.
