BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WMAR) - A 60-year-old woman was found in front of a fire house after being struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn Park.

According to Anne Arundel Fire officials say a fire engine was returning from a run when they located the woman.

She was found in the 3100 block of Ritchie Highway.

Crews treated the victim at the scene, and transported her to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore City.

The 60-yea-old is suffering from, what fire officials call, serious and life-threatening injuries.

There is no word from police on a suspect vehicle.
