Woman ejected, taken to Shock Trauma after Linthicum Heights crash

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. - Officials with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department confirm two people were taken to local hospitals Thursday after a car crash in Linthicum Heights.

The two-car crash happened at about 7 a.m. at the intersection of West Nursery Road and Winterson Road.

A 46-year-old woman was reportedly ejected from the car and taken by ground to Shock Trauma with serious injuries not believed to be life-threatening. A second person was taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center with injuries believed to be minor.

As of 11 a.m. Thursday, there was no word on the cause of the crash. Officials are still investigating.
