ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Anne Arundel County Fire Department reports that seven people were injured following a single car accident on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesman with the fire department says that units responded to the accident scene on eastbound Route 50 near the South River area at 2:26 pm.
They found a rolled over white sedan with all passengers sustaining injuries.
Five adults ranging from ages 20 to 41 were transported to Shock Trauma by land and helicopter with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Medics also transported two children believed to be 2 and 5-years old to the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore with minor injuries.
The cause of the rollover is still unknown.
