A 51-year-old man is being rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center following a fire in the 500 block of Wood Street in Brooklyn Park.
According to Anne Arundel County Fire officials, the fire was reported in the rear of the home when crews arrived on the scene following calls at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
The 51-year-old is reported to have serious burn injuries.
Fire officials also confirm that another person was taken to Shock Trauma with serious non-life threatening injuries.
The fire has been placed under control.
