A 30-year-old man was transported to Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries after an accident that involved several cars.
Anne Arundel County fire crews responded to Route 100 West at Arundel Mills Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Paramedics on the scene found it necessary to transport one victim, suffering from minor injuries, to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
Crews also transported the 30-year-old man suffering with life-threatening injuries to Shock Trauma.
In a separate crash that happened earlier in the afternoon, Howard County Fire and EMS crews assisted with a crash at Route 100 and Baltimore Washington Parkway.
One victim was transported following the crash.
The victim is reported to have been suffering minor injuries.
