FORT MEADE, Md. - Students at one area high school have dealt with more loss than any teenager should ever have to deal with.
In less than two years, ten students or recent graduates from Meade High School have died.
On Thursday, the community will come together to remember the lives lost.
A memorial will take place later in the afternoon in the high school auditorium.
At the end of the ceremony, everyone will head out to the football field to release balloons in honor of those lost.
In December alone, two students were killed after being hit by cars in separate incidents.
