GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Three adults and three children were left homeless after a townhome fire in Glen Burnie Thursday night.
First responders to the scene in the 6400 block of Lamplighter Ridge in Glen Burnie say the two story townhome saw smoke and fire and immediately requested an "All Hands" assignments. Forty-three firefighters brought the fire under control within an hour.
A 60-year-old man suffered from minor burns and smoke inhalation and was taken to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. A firefighter also suffered minor injuries and was taken to same medical center for evaluation.
The people left homeless after the fire are being helped by the Red Cross.
Three homes suffered $215,000 of damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
