Primary runways will be temporarily closed during late-night hours.
Both commercial runways at BWI will be temporarily closed this weekend due to airfield improvements. The work schedule will depend on weather conditions. The work was originally postponed due to poor weather in April.
Runway 10 - 28 is scheduled to be closed from 11:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17 through 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.
Runway 15R - 33L is scheduled to be closed from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 and from 12:01 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 19.
During the closure, BWI will use Runway 4-22 for its commercial operations.
