EDGEWATER, Md. - Anne Arundel County police say a 15-year-old ran after and tackled a man who had stolen a package from his home.
Police say about 4 p.m. Tuesday, the teen saw a man take the package from the front steps of his home in Edgewater. The teen ran after the man and tackled him, knocking the package from his hands.
Officers say the man produced a knife and swung at the teen, cutting his pants. The teen was not hurt.
The man fled the scene without the package.
