ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Today brings a sad Christmas Eve for a store in our area. After more than 50 years, the business is closing.
The doors of Stevens True Value Hardware on Dock Street in Annapolis will close for good at 1 p.m. today.
Store owners say it hurts to close, but they just can't afford to keep the store open.
The building has operated as a hardware store since the late 1800s. Owners say as of now, there are no plans for the old building.
