At the state office building downtown we remembered Sergeant Julian Chase Wednesday.
The Edgewater Marine was killed while in Afghanistan on Memorial Day.
The 22-year-old was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom when he when he died.
At the National Guard Armory, state office buildings and Anne Arundel county government buildings, flags were flown at half staff in Chase's memory.
