In the middle of a heat wave like this, all you want is to be near the water.
Whether it's a pool, or one of Maryland's waterways, you need relief.
Doing aerobics outside is tough when it's this hot.
Ahhh, now it makes sense.
The pool is a great way to cool down, but when you're trying to get away from the intense sun there is another option in our area.
The Chesapeake Bay has an endless supply of relief from this heat.
On the water, on a boat is a great way to go.
"You get a little too hot you just rev up the engine, get a little salt spray, and a cool breeze."
Sitting in the shade overlooking the Bay is very therapeutic.
"Very relaxing. Takes away the stress and makes you forget about all the problems of life."
Paul and Kimberly go right to the source with their six kids.
That's right, two sets of twins.
With the prospect of sitting around the house in this heat or going to the beach, he made a choice.
"Go to the beach. Sitting around the house the kids get stir crazy. Come out here and it's not so hot."
Seven-year-old Colby has the physics of the bays benefits down.
"When you go under the water it gets you cold. When you come up it's hot!"
I went all around the bay and I didn't find anything more relaxing and fun than this.
Hit it ladies!
