PASADENA, Md. - While a Pasadena boy is still recovering from being attacked by a pitbull , the dogs owner is now speaking out saying she doesn't think it's the dogs fault.

The child was riding his bike, with his mother nearby when he was attacked this week.

The dog's owner, Donna Helms, says the family was told not to come near the house but they didn't listen.

"But it wasn't no mother and her innocent little kid running down the street.  That's not what happened,” said Helms. “They were coming here specifically.”

Helms has more than one pitbull. She says a few months ago, the same dog that attacked the boy attacked one of her other pit bulls.
