PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) - A 7-year-old veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police force sustained minor injuries in a single vehicle crash last night.

The crash happened at about 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Route 100 and Catherine Avenue in Pasadena. The marked police cruiser flipped over in the median while he was responding to a call for service.

The preliminary information suggests that road conditions were wet at the time of the crash, however, the cause remains under investigation.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the crash and was treated and released from the hospital.
