EDGEWATER, Md. - Bernice A. King, daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, will speak at the opening of a memorial garden for Mrs. King on Thursday.

The ceremony will take place at the Sojourner Douglass College's Annapolis Southern Maryland campus in Edgewater.

Organizers say the garden will be among the first in the country to honor Coretta Scott King. Her daughter will deliver the keynote address.
