ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A teacher found marijuana in the backpack of a 6-year-old student from Eastport Elementary School said an Annapolis Police Department spokesperson.
As the student was getting homework out of their backpack the teacher noticed a small piece of marijuana fall out.
After looking through the bag, the teacher found more suspected marijuana. The teacher then contacted school officials.
The child's mother, was arrested at home. She already had two open arrest warrants.
