Police are looking the driver of a boat that hit a 55-year-old man who had jumped off of a boat on the Chesapeake Bay near the Thomas Point Lighthouse causing him serious injury according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Division Chief Michael E. Cox.
The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The victim, Mark Gentile, was taken by State Police helicopter to Maryland Shock Trauma as a priority two patient with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police believe the boat that hit Gentile was a white and champagne colored 21-foot Donzi type vessel with a white male and a white female on board.
