GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A Pasadena man died after having a heart attack and crashing his minivan, police say.
Anne Arundel County police confirm that Clifton Kimes, 67, was in full cardiac arrest when police arrived at the crash scene in the 6900 block of Ritchie Highway Friday night.
An initial investigation found Kimes was driving south on Crain Highway near Furnace Branch Road when he swerved into the northbound lanes and slammed into a fast food restaurant dumpster.
Kimes was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Speed and alcohol are not factors in the crash.
Police are investigating.
