EDGEWATER, Md. -
A twenty-one-year-old man is in critical condition after he slammed his car into a house in Edgewater Saturday morning.
Police said just after 1:30 Saturday morning police were called to the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Edgemont Street for a report of a crash. An investigation found that Ryan Douglas Anderson failed to negotiate a ‘T’ intersection and drove his Honda Civic into a house in the 900 block of Hillside Avenue. Although the home was occupied at the time, no one inside was injured.
Anderson suffered severe injuries and was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma in critical condition.
Police said speed does not seem to be a factor in the crash. It is unclear if alcohol played a part.
Anne Arundel County Police are investigating.
