Man, boy hurt in ATV accident

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) - Anne Arundel County Fire crews rescued a 10-year-old boy and a 70-year-old man hurt in an ATV accident Saturday afternoon.

Captain Michael Pfalltzgraff of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said that just before 2:00 p.m. the pair who were riding an ATV,  tumbled down an embankment in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Road in Annapolis. 
 
Over 20 fire units and the fire department's Technical Rope Rescue Team worked to pull the man and child up the quarter mile embankment. 
 
The 70-year-old victim was transported by helicopter to Shock Trauma with serious, non life-threatening condition. 
 
While the 10-year-old was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
The duo was rescued near a campsite at Camp Barrett.
