GLEN BURNIE, Md. - All lanes near the intersection of Route 648 and North Crain Highway in Glen Burnie were closed Monday afternoon in response to a multi-vehicle accident that officials say involved a police officer.
Officials with the Anne Arundel County Police department say there were no injuries believed to be life-threatening, and the law enforcement officer was transported to a local hospital.
The officer was reportedly on his way to a call and was using his lights and siren when his car was t-boned by a Toyota Sienna van that failed to yield.
